services overview

Let us manage your waste while You manage your business

Our services are intent to help businesses reduce their waste and recycling costs. Simply put we analyze your current waste and recycling programs to see if we can improve upon them. We conduct a "free" audit and come up with recommendations on how you can reduce your waste and recycling costs.

It is then up to you to approve our recommendations and upon your approval we handle the entire implementation of our recommendations. Keep in mind that it is always our goal to work with your existing waste and recycling vendors. As long as your company is not spending more than it has to on waste and recycling services then we have done our job.

We begin by investing time with your company or organization to better understand its current operations. We will help you manage every aspect of your waste and recycling services and much more. Our services do not necessitate your personal attention, hiring us does not mean another project for you to manage, but rather one less thing for you to worry about.

Waste Management Hierarchy

The waste management hierarchy is a nationally and internationally accepted guide for prioritizing waste management practices with the goal intended of achieving optimal environmental outcomes. It sets out the preferred order of waste management practices, from most to least preferred.

The waste management hierarchy is one of the guiding principle that we use in our services. This is our key elements for guiding waste management practices, while still recognizing the need for flexibility based on local and regional economic, social and environmental conditions.

Reduce, Reuse & Recycle

1
Reduce

The first and most effective element of the waste hierarchy is reducing the waste created. Consumers are encouraged to reduce their waste by purchasing in bulk, buying items with less packaging and switching to reusable instead of single-use items. Businesses can adopt manufacturing methods that need fewer resources and generate less waste. In addition to benefiting the environment, these efforts often offer consumers and businesses the financial incentive of lower expenses in purchases.

2
Reuse

Despite efforts to reduce the amount of waste generated, consumers and businesses still create substantial waste. Much of this waste can immediately be reused to minimize the strain on the environment and municipal waste management. For example, consumers can refill a purchased bottle of water with water from home to reduce the number of plastic bottles being discarded. Consumers have a financial incentive here as well, as municipal water is far cheaper than bottled water.

3
Recycle

When waste is eventually discarded, segregating items for recycling from other waste is important. Recyclable include glass, newspaper, aluminum, cardboard and a surprising array of other materials. Lead, such as, has one of the highest recycling rates because of laws requiring the recycling of lead-acid batteries
